David Rizi

David Rizi is a senior consultant and specialist orthodontist with over 25 years of broad clinical experience from Sweden, the United Kingdom and Norway.

He was educated at Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm, where he obtained his dental degree (DDS), completed his specialist training in orthodontics and earned a Master of Science (MSc) in odontology.

During his career, David Rizi has treated more than 10,000 orthodontic cases — from simpler corrections to very complex treatments requiring extensive planning and multidisciplinary collaboration, including more than 150 orthognathic surgery cases.

David Rizi has extensive experience in digital orthodontics and advanced aligner treatment with Invisalign®. He is an Invisalign Diamond Provider and mentor for Align Technology, the company behind Invisalign, where he guides and supports orthodontists in the Nordic region in treatment planning and Invisalign treatment. He also lectures on orthodontics, digital treatment planning and aligner treatment.

Since 2007, David Rizi has founded, run and developed specialist orthodontic clinics. In addition to his clinical work, he has extensive experience in leading and developing specialist operations with a focus on high-quality care, modern treatment methods and patient-centred orthodontics.
